2020 Danish Federation Conference in Nanaimo

Dear Members and Friends,
 
I have received word this morning from Rolf Christensen, President of the Federation of Danish Associations in Canada, that the Board of the Federation has made the decision to CANCEL the upcoming Federation Conference and AGM that was scheduled to take place in Nanaimo on May 21 through 24. This decision is of course a result of the current COVID-19 pandemic that is currently affecting so many things in our daily lives. Rolf indicated that the Board has not yet discussed the possibility of "postponing" the conference or re-scheduling but he did say that they intend to carry on with publishing the annual Heritage Book so please continue with your family histories and other stories and get those in to us as soon as you can.
